TV #4 is the fourth in a series of four single colour prints that capture the style (and size!) of vintage TVs from back in the day when they were actual pieces of furniture. I thought about what different things might have been found on top of these huge TVs, which inspired this series of prints.
This is an open edition.
Paper: Gorgeous 120gsm handmade Nepalese Lokta paper. This paper is made from the bark of the naturally abundant Daphne shrub and is sustainably produced using traditional methods. It has a smooth finish with fine visible fibres giving it a beautiful subtle texture. There is plenty of space around the image allowing for lots of different framing and mounting options.
Ink: I use Cranfield Safewash oil-based ink. This quality ink is lightfast and has a high pigment content. The colours are bright and it’s a joy to use.
Packaging: The print will be safely packaged with a heavyweight backing board and encased in a biodegradable cellophane envelope. It will then be posted in a sturdy cardboard envelope to protect it against any bumps along the way. Please consider reusing the envelope to reduce waste. Cheers!
Due to the nature of the printing process there may be small variations from print to print. This is very much one reason why hand printed linocuts are special. Each is unique!
All prints are signed by me and numbered (if a limited edition).
