For this wood engraving I wanted to conjure up a mystical and atmospheric scene, with the moon rising over the henge and the curious group of birds huddled by the fire. It was inspired by my fascination with ancient sites, rituals, storytelling and intrigue! It is carved out of lemonwood and printed onto lovely Japanese 30gsm Kitakata paper using Vanson rubber-based letterpress ink.
Limited edition of 100. Size of image: 6.5 x 5cm. Size of paper: 11.75 x 10cm Each print is signed, titled and numbered. Packaging: The print will be safely packaged with a heavyweight backing board and encased in a biodegradable cellophane envelope. It will then be posted in a sturdy cardboard envelope to protect it against any bumps along the way. Please consider reusing the envelope to reduce waste. Cheers!
