This wood engraving is of the Stone Curlew. Also known as 'thick knee', I love the character this bird has with it's huge eyes and spindly legs.
It is carved out of pearwood and printed onto lovely Japanese 30gsm Kitakata paper using Vanson rubber-based letterpress ink.
Limited edition of 100.
Size of image: 4.5 x 6cm
Each print is signed, titled and numbered.
Packaging: The print will be safely packaged with a heavyweight backing board and encased in a biodegradable cellophane envelope. It will then be posted in a sturdy cardboard envelope to protect it against any bumps along the way. Please consider reusing the envelope to reduce waste. Cheers!
