This print was inspired by a trip to Anglesey in Wales, where I was hunting down some of the many ancient sites there. The stone structure in the print is the Bodowyr burial chamber or dolmen, which is a fascinating site. As I walked towards it a buzzard flew and landed on top of the tomb's capstone- a pretty amazing thing to see! I also included a lamb as I was visiting a Bronze Age standing stone and there was a very cute cluster of lambs running around it, so I thought it would be fitting to add one of those to the print. This print is in black with gold sun rays.

Limited edition of 80.

Image measures approximately 20 x 21cm
Paper measures 28 x 39.5cm

Ink: I use Cranfield Safewash oil-based ink. This quality ink is lightfast and has a high pigment content. The colours are bright and it’s a joy to use.

Paper: Lovely 90sgm Japanese HoSho paper. This bright white paper has a smooth finish and clean cut edges. There is plenty of space around the image allowing for lots of different framing and mounting options.

Packaging: Your print will be carefully rolled, wrapped in glassine paper and held together to avoid it unravelling. It will then be posted in a sturdy cardboard tube to protect it against any bumps along the way. Please consider reusing the tube to reduce waste. Cheers!

Due to the nature of the printing process there may be small variations from print to print. This is very much one reason why hand printed linocuts are special. Each is unique!
All prints are signed by me and numbered (if a limited edition).
